Gone With The Wind

 

Yes, we are gone with the wind – the Silver Wind that is – but we still get the news.

I am worried that, if the Republicans let Trump get away with simply ignoring any law he doesn’t like, our democracy will also be gone with the wind. Trump is thumbing his nose at us all, in effect paraphrasing Clark Gable’s memorable line from the 1939 movie:

“Frankly America, I don’t give a damn.”
